Welcome to Foundation Therapy, my name is Kevin (He/Him).
In 2020, during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, I found myself reflecting on my life, as I was feeling unfulfilled in my career. I realised that I had an opportunity to make a change. This challenging period pushed me to re-evaluate my life and begin my journey to become a counsellor. Through my counselling training, I was able to work on my self-awareness, helping me to grow both personally and professionally enabling me to improve my well-being and my relationship with myself and others. Becoming a counsellor has been incredibly rewarding and a true privilege. It is now enabling me to help others find their path to clarity, healing, and growth. I have worked with a diverse range of clients and am experienced in working on a range of issues including anxiety, depression, loss and bereavement, anger, relationship difficulties, self-esteem, and suicidal ideation.

I aim to offer you a safe supportive non-judgemental space where we can work together to explore and understand your lived experiences. I specialise in a range of therapeutic approaches that can be tailored individually to your unique needs. My goal is to guide and help you develop your self-awareness and emotional well-being and empower you with coping strategies to enable you to face your challenges with strength and resilience
Together, we'll explore patterns of behaviour that may be holding you back, helping you reconnect with your authentic self, to enable you to build healthier relationships with both yourself and others.

My mother suffered from vascular dementia and was taken into care during lockdown. This brought on many suppressed and sometimes painful emotions for me. Kevin from Foundation Therapy helped me to gently explore my childhood attachments, allowing me to view my life experiences from an adult perspective.
